Bielkine fled Russia in 1918 and roamed via Prague, Berlin, Vienna and Paris to Amsterdam. In 1924 he settled in Haarlem, the Netherlands, where he became illustrator and advertising designer for a.o. the Philips Electronic Company and the Haarlems Dagblad (newspaper)
He also painted and drew free artistic work
In 1928 he exposed in the Waag in Haarlem for the first time. In 1947 he left Holland for Zurich and eventually passed away in Grand Canaria in the summer of 1967 after a very immersive and eventful life
